Spring break is always well spent in Hawaii.

This stunning five star resort hosts luxurious pool amenities like a swim up bar, rentable cabanas, and a kids waterslide. The property is a home to essential shops and 6 divine restaurants.

Upon arrival, a verdant zen garden is the first thing I saw while walking into the open roof lobby! The abundant greenery, water features ,and hawaiian monuments were a breathtaking first impression for me. Not only were the luscious plants and vibrant flowers one of the first things I noticed. But they were repeatedly enjoyed at every encounter. The space is so peaceful I took a stroll through it various times on my stay.

I fell in love with this beautiful pond scattered with lily pads, and made friends with the fish in each passing. It brought a colourful and lively look to the greens of the Inn and could make for a great photo-opp. I didn't get the chance but if I go back I would love to do a little bit of yoga in its presence or a meditation practice.

My room at the Fairmont Kea Lani was spacious and accommodating. With a fridge to keep my lei and my leftovers cool, and coffee to start my morning. It was a comfortable space to start and end my day. Functional utilities like large sinks, counterspace, a bathtub and shower. The deck off of my room was so much bigger than I expected. It wrapped around the corner showing off two breathtaking views, and was completed with a table, chairs and a big round sun lounger! The sound of the ocean waves and its turquoise glow were ever so calming as I got to observe the scene waking up. Perfect for coffee drinking wrapped in a towel. Or breaks taken out of the sun.

More important than being a good place to stay is being good for the environment, a brief look into their efforts below.
